Jumping on a trampoline is not only one of the most fun activities you can do: it is also an excellent workout. More and more families are outfitting their yards with trampolines to take advantage of the feeling of being weightless and the benefits of cardiovascular exercise. It can be tedious to do calisthenics on the ground, but you will have no trouble getting your children to jump on a trampoline. Fortunately, the benefits are similar. Since there are so many trampolines on today's market, we decided to shortlist the top trampolines in this Jump Power Trampoline review.

The Jump Power Trampoline Review Process

To conduct our Jump Power Trampoline review, we first scoured the internet for the top brands of trampoline that you can buy. We then narrowed these down as we tried them out, considering how they deliver on their promises and how we enjoyed using them. Price point was a third factor that helped us separate the wheat from the chaff.

Jump Power

Jump Power made the short list for a lot of reasons. We first considered their products because we wanted to see how many of the claims on positive reviews held true. To do this, we picked three worthy competitors from our internet shortlist. We then compared these options to the titular product of our Jump Power Trampoline review.

The showing from Jump Power was so strong that their products actually make up two of the options on our top four list. To further analyze each product, we put them through our Jump Power trampoline review criteria. Each entry was subjected to the following questions:

  • How much does the trampoline cost?
  • What is the overall quality of the design?
  • How long does the trampoline take to fully assemble?
  • Just how safe is this model of trampoline?
  • What sort of safety features are included in its design?
  • What sort of warranty comes with this model of trampoline?

After answering these questions to our satisfaction and assigning scores to each of the answers, we boiled down the high and low points of each trampoline into easily readable pro and con lists. In the end, the scores revealed a best of the best, which we will share with you at the end of this article.

What Is the Jump Power In-Ground Rectangular Trampoline?

The trampoline that headlines our Jump Power Trampoline review is the Jump Power 12 ft. by 8 ft. In-ground Rectangular Trampoline with Patented Safety Net Cable Wire Enclosure System.

The Jump Power In-Ground Rectangular Trampoline fits directly over a pit in your yard. This means that no climbing up is necessary to get into the trampoline. This might seem to be a minor consideration, but when it comes to getting the most use out of your product, you are going to want a trampoline that is inviting instead of intimidating.

The safety net works wonders, and it really sets the bar in terms of safety features in this Jump Power Trampoline review. Thanks to this model being an in-ground trampoline, the net is not too intrusive. For above-ground trampolines, your yard has to sport about two stories of trampoline to be really safe. It's not that we don't like the look of a good trampoline; but we do find it much more aesthetically pleasing to have the trampoline flush with the ground.

This model is also available in a 10 ft. by 7.5 ft size.

Product Specs

This trampoline measures either 10 feet by 7.5 feet or 12 feet by 8 feet. This provides 75 square feet of jumping space for the smaller model. The larger model gives you a whopping 96 square feet of bouncy surface for you to jump on.

The Jump Power In-Ground Rectangular Trampoline is composed primarily of polypropylene. This material has a reputation for high durability. We even liked the way that it felt to the touch.

The frame is strong and manufactured out of solid 16-gauge galvanized steel. It not only meets all global safety standards as far as trampolines are concerned, but it actually exceeds these standards.

Rust resistant technology makes this trampoline a winner in terms of longevity and durability. The springs and the safety net are noted for their long-lasting durability. The maximum amount of weight that is safe to be on the Jump Power In-Ground Rectangular Trampoline is two hundred and twenty pounds. The whole thing ships at a weight of one hundred and thirty-nine pounds.

Pricing

The European Design of the Jump Power 12 ft. by 8 ft. In-ground Rectangular Trampoline with Patented Safety Net Cable Wire Enclosure System can be yours for around three hundred and fifty dollars. It is actually one of the harder trampolines to find in stock; which is why we've provided you with several other trampoline options.

Other trampolines that made our Jump Power Trampoline review tend to hover around this price point. Cheaper options undercut this price by up to a hundred dollars or more. Trampoline companies pricing at the higher end might end up charging you several hundred dollars more than those at the midpoint.

How It Compares

We picked a few similar products available on the market to see how they compare:

Design Quality

The net looks great and successfully unobtrusive in a way that many other safety features fail to master. The orange and black look is a bit more distinctive than other options. We liked the way that it sits in a yard. This trampoline is there when you need it and fades into the background when you do not. Everything on it is built to last.

Assembly Time

Digging an appropriate hole for the trampoline is not the easiest task in the world. However, most users feel like the effort is well worth it to have a trampoline that is flush with your yard. The assembly time for the trampoline itself is minimal. This was one of the fastest setups of all the entries in this Jump Power Trampoline review.

The net works wonders. Not only does this trampoline meet international safety standards; it actually exceeds them in many aspects. Being closer to the ground is also a nice feature that increases overall safety.

Skywalker Trampolines 12-Feet Round Trampoline

Skywalker 12-Feet Round Trampoline with Enclosure, Red
  • Reinforced T-sockets stabilize the upper enclosure frame and prevents structural twisting
  • Frame constructed of heavy gauge galvanized rust resistant steel
  • 72 Heavy gauge extra wide springs provide superior bounce and are rust resistant

Many of you will want the freedom of being able to bounce like you are on the moon without having to dig a pit in your backyard. That is just the sort of freedom that Skywalker Trampolines' 12-Feet Round Trampoline will provide you. This is a “no frills” option, but it bounces excellently and looks good in your yard.

The jumping mat of the GGGG is composed of heavy-duty, UV-protected polypropylene which is known to last a long time. The overall construction was impressive in that it utilized T-joints to eliminate the possibility of structural twisting. It is an above-ground trampoline, but this is the preference of some buyers. It is one of the cheaper options that we found while conducting our Jump Power Trampoline review process.

Design Quality

The red skirt looks a bit cheesy compared to other trampolines that made our shortlist. The design is certainly built to last, but there is something that is unattractively reminiscent of circus tents in the look of its net and skirt.

Assembly Time

You can have this trampoline assembled in about three hours.

All of the safety features you would expect like covered springs and a net are present on this model. However, it does not exceed the standards for safety like the Jump Power In-Ground Trampoline does.

Warranty

The frame is warranted for a year after purchase.

PROS

  • No pit required to use this trampoline
  • One of the cheaper options in this Jump Power Trampoline review
  • Solid safety features
  • Built to last

CONS

  • Takes three hours to assemble
  • Above ground design is not everyone's preference
  • Not the longest warranty

Jump Power 14' Round Trampoline

We tried to populate this list with entries from a wide variety of manufacturers. However, when we applied our rubric to the trampolines available on the market, we had to award two positions to products created by Jump Power. Their 14 Foot Round Trampoline performs just as well as their In-Ground model, and it provides a great option for those who want jumping power without having to break out the shovel from the shed.

This model is notably as a no-weld joint trampoline. This lack of welding means that the trampoline is guaranteed to last longer than those with structurally weak seams. It is ASTM approved and comes with a year long warranty against defects. This model is cheaper than the in-ground version by up to a hundred dollars.

Design Quality

The quality is apparent in this model of trampoline. The weldless design is ingenious. It does not look quite as nice as the in-ground model, but it looks nice in general.

Assembly Time

This trampoline is ASTM approved, meaning that it passes the safety criteria put forth by the American Society for Testing and Materials.

Safety

All of the safety features you would expect like covered springs and a net are present on this model. However, it does not exceed the standards for safety like the Jump Power In-Ground Trampoline does.

  • Weldless design ensures a long life

The Kangaroo Hoppers 12 14 FT Trampoline is possibly the most unique trampoline to make this Jump Power Trampoline review. It is an above-ground model with a completely unique take on the safety net. Unlike other safety nets, the Kangaroo Hoppers 12 14 FT Trampoline utilizes a superior dense mesh enclosure model of net. This means that those who are jumping inside are protected;and they look good through the veil. It comes with a basketball hoop for epic anti-gravity dunking.

Design Quality

We absolutely love the look of the dense mesh net. It gives the whole product a utopian look. You can choose between three colors.

Assembly Time

It can take quite a while to assemble. Fortunately, there is no drilling required.

Safety

This trampoline has one of the safest nets we have encountered while reviewing trampolines.

Warranty

This product comes with a one-year limited warranty on its parts.

PROS

  • One of the best-looking trampolines
  • Comes with a basketball hoop
  • Three color options
  • Dense net design is excellent

CONS

  • Not the longest warranty
  • Above ground design

Conclusion

When it comes to choosing the right trampoline, one of the biggest questions is: are you willing to dig it into the ground? This obviously is much more effort than simply assembling the trampoline above-ground. However, the benefits are so many that whenever we compared an above-ground model to the Jump Power 12 ft. by 8 ft. in-ground Rectangular Trampoline, it just fell short.

Ultimately, no competitor could dethrone the Jump Power In-ground Rectangular Trampoline. It feels great to bounce on. It lasts a long time, and its price point is more than reasonable. We give it 4.5 out of 5 stars as we set it up in the yard permanently.
