Want a truly unique trampoline experience? Bounce Below lets you bounce on suspended trampolines in an underground slate cavern. It’s the first subterranean jumping playground, and it’s located right at Zip World Titan in North Wales.

If bouncing high in a dark, murky cavern sounds fun to you, we’ll let you know what to expect during your Bounce Below experience and who can participate.

The Bounce Below Experience

No matter whether you’re 10 or 72, Bounce Below will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Giant trampolines are suspended high in a cavern with slides, walkways and tunnels ready to be explored. Every single component of the Bounce Below playground is made from netting, so you can climb, slide or bounce to your heart’s content and unleash your inner child.

To top it all off, the cavern is lit up with a vibrant technicolored light display to illuminate the 176-year old Victorian slate mine.

Make sure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled booking time. This will give you enough time to register and go through the safety brief.

The temperature in the cavern is about 8 degrees Celsius, so be sure to dress appropriately. Keep long hair tied back and remove all jewelry and scarves before your session. Bounce Below doesn’t recommend wearing skirts during bouncing sessions.

In fact, the company recommends wearing old garments as the nets can be abrasive and damage clothing. As for footwear, only trainers are permitted. Work boots, open-toe shoes and sandals are prohibited.

Can You Participate?

Bounce Below does offer some degree of physical and mental challenge. The underground playground may not be suitable for people with certain medical issues, like heart conditions or epilepsy. Bounce Below is also not suitable for people who are pregnant or have special needs.

Bounce Below also has certain age requirements for both adult-only and family sessions. Participants must be at least 7 years of age to bounce. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bounce Below requires one participating adult over the age of 18 for every 7 children between the ages of 1 and 17.
